My Christmas Wishlist

I know Christmas is just around the corner but I'm gonna list the things I want and cross out what I actually get !

1. Marc Jacobs Daisy - I fell in love with the scent and just couldn't give up $150 for a bottle.. lols im guilty of being stingy.. on myself !
2. Olympus e450 DSLR Camera - I've been wanting an slr camera for ages and wouldn't it be great to snap pics of my new little one when it arrives?!
3. Rayban Mirrored Aviators - I swapped my mirrored one with my hubbys gold aviators and I accidentally broke the gold one.. now I have no sunglasses to wear !
4. Gift card.. from target/kmart/big w - Well I would love to get one of these just because I want to stock up on baby items while they're on sale !

Thats about all of the things I want right now. Its not much but hopefully I get my slr !! Can't wait for Christmas !!!!

Verdict:

First of all I absolutely love the smell of this gorgeous powder ! Smells like baby powder but not as strong, very subtle. The powder itself is very fine, almost to the same grade as mineral powder but you don't have to "buff" the powder into the skin as it adheres very well. As for color I got the #2 Natural Beige and I must say I was skeptical about the color before I purchased, I knew it was either going to be too dark or too light but not with this! I was extremely happy to have the powder nicely blend with my skin tone ( I wear beige neutral in everyday minerals). The powder is very light and I would say it is comparable to mineral makeup, I didn't feel like I had it on and it certainly didn't look like I had anything on! The compact itself is very pretty compared to the normal plain round ones available on western cosmetics. I really love taking this out of my purse because its a total eye catcher in pearly pink !

Overall I give this a 4.5 out of 5 simply because I would've loved it if the compact was bigger but what the hey?! Its almost perfect !

Code B Strong Eyes Cream Liner

Verdict:

This is my first dable into the unknown.. I have never used cream or gel liner before, but I'm glad I stumbled upon this little gem! I got the liner in #01 Strong Black and I must say that it is the blackest eyeliner I have ever come across. Application was easy in terms of how smooth the eyeliner went but I had difficulty making a thin line and controlling my pressure on the brush. I was surprised at how soft the eyeliner was because it looked like it was hard but as soon as I dipped my brush into the jar I knew it would be best if I go softly next time! A little goes a long way with this product as it is very black and you wouldn't have to go over the line again to get that intensity sometimes hard to achieve with a pencil alone. I also love the little liner brush that comes with the liner but I hesitated to use it as it looked to nice to be used ! Both the liner and the brush come with a little keychain thingy that makes it easier to take with you and never get lost in your bag !

Overall I give this product a 5 out of 5. I couldn't find fault in it !!

Guess Who's Back?!

Okay I admit I have neglected my blog for a few months, but could you forgive me?? I have been extremely busy these past few months.. especially now I'm expecting baby #2 !!! I must admit this came as an unexpected suprise but hey? Who am I to question gods doing right? Anyway this pregnancy has left me feeling very exhausted ! I am always feeling like I'm being dragged by my weight and seriously I could barely get myself up some days. I hope I start feeling better once I hit my second trimester and all this sluggish feeling will leave me to enjoy my pregnancy !! Hopefully I would be able to put life back on my blog and start updating again real soon !!

OCM - Oil Cleansing Method

I have been looking for a natural and painless way to clean my pores..because lets face it mine is almost always clogged. I have very bad disgusting pores on my nose and over the years I have come to obsess about these little monsters that make my life that little bit harder. I usually squeeze the living daylights out of my nose. I know it sounds gross right? but I am actually addicted to doing this at least 3 times a week. This past week I have been plagued by annoying pimples across my forehead.. and my partner is coming down for a holiday ! So I've been jittery and anxious looking for ways to get rid of them before he comes down..and thats when I stumbled upon OCM. When I first read it I was skeptical.. I mean how can oil help an oily t-zone?! It seems that media and most everything we read say that any oil on your face will equal to pimples/blackheads/ whiteheads etc etc. but contrary to that the philosophy of OCM devotee's is that oil dissolves oil. simple right? This sounded pretty convincing to me so I decided to take the plunge and try OCM.. I will update you lovely ladies on my skins progress.

As you can see I have 3 BIG pimples on my forehead.. I always get pimples when I am on contraceptive pills ! I hate them !! grrrr !!

BF-Beauty Haul !!

I've been hit by the false eyelash craze recently because my BFF put a pair on me on my cousins bachelorette party and damn.. I must admit it looked lovely !! My aunties who were also at the party didn't recognize who I was !! LOL !! Anyway since that night I wanted to get my hands on a few pairs of eyelashes.. and stumbled upon (accidentaly!) BF-BEAUTY!! I love love this website !! They sell quality eyelashes in packs of 10 pairs or 3 pairs for such a cheap price !! I also adore their eyeshadow palettes !! such lovely colors and also very very pigmented !! I was quite suprised with the quality and the price !!

The items I got !! I think it might take me a lifetime to get through these many eyelashes !!

How lovely are these colors?! The eyeshadows are so smooth and very pigmented. I know it looks glittery in the photos but I would describe it as a "shimmer" very pretty !!

Geo Angel Gray & Geo Tri Color Brown

Finally some pics of me wearing the contacts from HERE. Took me awhile to get used to inserting something into my eyeballs but as days go on and I "train" myself to get used to applying them it just gets easier !! I did use two different cameras for each pic so please bare with me !! hehehe

this definitely makes me look "western" though i think circle lenses don't work on me.. my eyes are still the same except the color. I did find these contacts uncomfortable to wear.. they blur my eyes and make me feel dizzy ! i think i will wear them for photo ops only !!

I love my geo angel gray !! They look so nice and are so comfortable I forgot I had them on !! I will probably order the purple and brown one next !! I love it !! Oh and the 2nd day after I successfuly applied contacts my right one "disappeared" after I closed my eyes for a second because my eyes were so watery.. I looked everywhere and eventually gave up because I though it must've fallen through the sink but guess where it was?! It was stuck under my eyelid and was folded and very hard to get out !! ewwww !! lols

HAUL !!

I've been very interested in circle lenses for awhile because of the hype surrounding them and Korean celebrities !! I've always wondered how my favorite Korean celebritieEv
I bought my circle lenses HERE ! I must say a big Thank You to felicia who answered all my questions and replied to me so quick it seemed like we were chatting !!

My package came super quick !! considering the fact that it usually takes 4 - 7 days between states in Australia !! My package came in 2 days (not including weekends!) I mean super !!

The items were well protected with tonnes of bubble wrap and a cute transparent flower plastic !! I love the free lense case they sent me !! It's so cute !!

EDM Pressed Powders.. (for yvonne !!)

As much as I love my EDM foundation I must admit the PP's didn't really deliver for me. The smell is just too for my liking. As for coverage I would say its heavier than intensive but the finish is very matte even on my oily t-zone. I would also say that the colors would be darker than the actual loose powders in the same shade. The texture of the PP's is very very smooth almost creamy. The only real complaint I have with the PP's is the strong jojoba oil smell, but apart from that it is almost perfect !

The buttered tan PP is just right for my NC40 skin but if I used the loose buttered tan it would be way to light ! Medium beige PP is a tad too dark on my winter skin right now but I could probably get away with using it for summer.

it's been awhile..

hi ladies !!
as you all can see I haven't been posting anything new lately because my little man has been sick with the flu and all you moms out there know just how horrible that can be !! my baby has been getting 40+ temps and I haven't been able to get some sleep lately.. just monitoring his temp most of the time trying to keep it down but it still keeps going up. Thank God he's doing very well now his temp has come down.. all he needs now is to get his appetite back !! I will be posting once my little man is 110% better !! starting with my post for yvonne !! ;] hopefully in the coming week !!

Makeup Masala Mini Haul !!

I've been in love with makeup masala since the ladies at the EDM forum have been raving about this website !! I love how all the items there are affordable and the postage is just too good to be true !! So I've been browsing around makeup masala again hoping that toma has stocked up on e.l.f products but unfortunately the e.l.f products on makeup masala go really fast and toma has a very limited quatities so I have to wait for the next batch but I did make a purchase !!

There have been lots of talks about the Super Custom Kit of everyday minerals disappearing forever on July 2nd, and since i thought well i don't think there will be another kit like the SCK again I decided to plunge into deep waters and order.. even though I'm well stocked for the next 10 years or so. I think I am getting used to it though.. it doesn't smell as appaling as it used to when I just got it.

Nintendo Wii !! Okay so its not much but my bf was here for the weekend since he misses our little boy and me of course !! ;] We don't get to see each other often since he works all the way up in Karratha.. and I am here in Perth so we try to see each other as much as our finances would allow ! Its frustrating sometimes and I guess its also a good thing when you don't see each other often.. you know "absence makes the heart grow fonder" but sometimes its also a bad thing like he can't see our little one grow up..etc etc. heheh sorry for being side tracked.. Anyway I love my Wii !! and i also love the person who bought it for me ;] heheh i got 6 games with it like Mario Party, Sonic & Mario tennis and lots more but can't remember from the top of my head. It is soo cool especially if you play it on a big tv.. i play it on our 154cm plasma and its AWESOME !! the graphics are extreme and it so fun to play !! Its not like the ordinary ps3 where you just park your ass and play.. the wii games are more physical and make you move around !! i love love love it !! now all i need is to buy dance dance revolution on wii and im all set !! Anyway here are some pics of my wee little one !!

my mini haul for today.. an assortment of eyeshadows and a red lipstick from bourjois paris.
i don't buy much eyeshadowss but since i've gotten a freebie shadow palette by bourjois from a purchase off priceline before.. thats when the love for bourjois began. I only own a lipstick and a 2 shadow palette that is actually by bourjois because the only thing holding me back is the price. I can't seem to justify spending $16.00 on eyeshadows i would hardly use but since they were on sale today i thought why the hell not?!
