Verdict:

First of all I absolutely love the smell of this gorgeous powder ! Smells like baby powder but not as strong, very subtle. The powder itself is very fine, almost to the same grade as mineral powder but you don't have to "buff" the powder into the skin as it adheres very well. As for color I got the #2 Natural Beige and I must say I was skeptical about the color before I purchased, I knew it was either going to be too dark or too light but not with this! I was extremely happy to have the powder nicely blend with my skin tone ( I wear beige neutral in everyday minerals). The powder is very light and I would say it is comparable to mineral makeup, I didn't feel like I had it on and it certainly didn't look like I had anything on! The compact itself is very pretty compared to the normal plain round ones available on western cosmetics. I really love taking this out of my purse because its a total eye catcher in pearly pink !

Overall I give this a 4.5 out of 5 simply because I would've loved it if the compact was bigger but what the hey?! Its almost perfect !

Code B Strong Eyes Cream Liner

Verdict:

This is my first dable into the unknown.. I have never used cream or gel liner before, but I'm glad I stumbled upon this little gem! I got the liner in #01 Strong Black and I must say that it is the blackest eyeliner I have ever come across. Application was easy in terms of how smooth the eyeliner went but I had difficulty making a thin line and controlling my pressure on the brush. I was surprised at how soft the eyeliner was because it looked like it was hard but as soon as I dipped my brush into the jar I knew it would be best if I go softly next time! A little goes a long way with this product as it is very black and you wouldn't have to go over the line again to get that intensity sometimes hard to achieve with a pencil alone. I also love the little liner brush that comes with the liner but I hesitated to use it as it looked to nice to be used ! Both the liner and the brush come with a little keychain thingy that makes it easier to take with you and never get lost in your bag !

Overall I give this product a 5 out of 5. I couldn't find fault in it !!

I bought my circle lenses HERE ! I must say a big Thank You to felicia who answered all my questions and replied to me so quick it seemed like we were chatting !!

My package came super quick !! considering the fact that it usually takes 4 - 7 days between states in Australia !! My package came in 2 days (not including weekends!) I mean super !!

Makeup Masala Mini Haul !!

I've been in love with makeup masala since the ladies at the EDM forum have been raving about this website !! I love how all the items there are affordable and the postage is just too good to be true !! So I've been browsing around makeup masala again hoping that toma has stocked up on e.l.f products but unfortunately the e.l.f products on makeup masala go really fast and toma has a very limited quatities so I have to wait for the next batch but I did make a purchase !!

This is my HG mascara ! I've been meaning to write a review about this little magic stick awhile back but just didn't have time. At first I was sceptical.. I mean who would've heard of a brushless mascara?? Isn't revlon/covergirl etc. always trying to come up with ways to improve their mascara brushes?! Well don't let the "brushlessness" scare you !! This mascara is absolutely magic !! It makes my lashes super thick, super long !! It really does deliver ! and best of all it is easy to apply and to remove !! I absolutely testify that you will have no panda eyes by the time your night at casino ends !! I love this mascara and best of all its mineral based so its also good for your lashes !! Apart from making you look like you have doll eyes the consistency of this mascara is very smooth.. no clumps at all.. beautiful and very light on the eyes it won't make your lashes feel "heavy" and at $32.99 (@ myers & djs) wouldn't you want to buy it too?!

I've always been skeptical about cheap makeup, but this tinted moisturizer from FOA is just marvelous !! Honestly speaking it rivals my $105 Clarins Tinted Restorative !! I love the smell of this stuff and the spf is so high you don't need to apply sunscreen before hand ! I especially love the price, it is $14.95 but as always I managed to score a bargain since i purchased it on sale !! The coverage is very sheer and lightweight, great for all the ladies out there who have clear skin and just needs to cover redness or evening out the skin tone. Applying the moisturizer is also very easy as the product is very smooth. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and I didn't get any shine even hours after application. Overall I think I have founda another product I can't see myself without !

My Verdict:
I got mine in creamy natural and I love it !! I was sceptical about this liquid foundation because the powder one really disappointed me so I thought this one would be just as horrible but I was wrong ! What I love about it is the super smooth consistency and I swear it makes application a breeze !! It feels like I have nothing on and is sheer so it just looks like your second skin !! As for value well you can't beat $19.95 (I got mine cheaper because it was on sale!) It won't burn a hole through your wallet !! I love it especially for everyday use !!

The Aspirin Mask Phenomena

maybe you've heard it maybe you haven't but right now the beauty world is abuzz with this cost efficient and miraculous mask. any keen beauty freak like myself i was curious.. aspirin?? but after reading countless of threads (click here to read) on aspirin masks i decided to take the plunge. as you all know from my previous posts i have extremely sensitive skin. anything i do has to be "patch tested" first or else my face would have a sad and swell (like a blowfish!). i used my own recipe in making the aspirin mask you can tweak it or change anything you don't like

What You Need:

• panadol paracetamol tablets. remember to make sure to buy TABLETS not CAPSULES or else you would have a hard time peeling the casing off ! crush the panadol tablets and add into the honey, i used 12 tablets.
  
• honey. use as much or as little as you want. as i said tweak it !! i used 2 spoon full because i hate the smell of honey
  
• jojoba oil. this is optional ! i added 3 drops just for a little moisturizing for my skin !

mix all the ingredients together and voila !! some people use this recipe as a scrub but i find it really good as a mask.. sometimes i don't even add honey in especially when i am spot treating pimples ! i must say i am now an aspirin mask devotee ! it made my pores smaller and my skin smoother ! its inexpensive and easy to make, what more do you want??

i know mother's day has passed but a few days ago i just received my mothers day kit from EDM !! i totally love love the bamboo kabuki !! i really want another one but i think they are limited edition only and comes with the new mom blush.

i am so in love with the bamboo kabuki !! the bamboo kabuki is the same
as the long handled kabuki but only a shorter handle ! i find shorter handles
give more precision in application !! it is super full also !! i love EDM brushes.

since my cousin's wedding is coming i've been searching for a good foundation to use on the special day especially i am one of her brides maid and i would be in ALOT of the wedding photos so obviously i wanted to look great ! my cousin is getting married in august.. though i know its 3 months away i really really wanted to test some foundations out before the big day.. drugstore brands just don't work for me.. i have picky skin *lol* so i decided to "invest" some money on MAC's mineralize liquid foundation $48.00 at MAC counters. i got the NC40 shade and to my surprise it was lovely.. tested it out last night when i went out to a family dinner and i can tell you that my foundation didn't feather off and stay put all night ! i also didn't have any shine at all my face stayed matte all night despite the fact that i was busy running after my two year old and my little cousin. overall i think it is well worth the price.. you really get what you paid for !!

Update: Kaminomoto Hair Tonic

as i said in my previous post about Kaminimoto.. i have terribly damaged hair.. long story short i had my hair chemically straightened overseas and it ended up falling out BY THE HUNDREDS. i swear i had really thick long wavy hair before i got it chemically treated and it literally burned my hair off :( so when i came back to australia my hair was short, disgusting and was still snapping in half or falling off. I became desperate to repair the damage i tried deep conditioners even expensive hair treatments at salons but to no avail.. but now my hair is so healthy and shiny and long of course i did give my hair a break (no dying, bleaching, blowdrying) to give it some time to heal itself but that was not enough.. thank god for Kaminomoto !! it made my hair go back to normal and made it grow thicker and faster !! i swear it must be hair food or something !! my hair now is super soft and super thick !! it is also back to its *wavy* self but now i've learnt to take care of my hair and not put too much product into it. i love Kaminomoto and recommend it to everybody !!

Garnier Caffeine Eye Roll-on RRP: $14.95 ~ $17.95

This super hard to find item by Garnier promises to reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness under your eyes apparently, it is different from other eye creams because it contains caffeine which helps to stimulate the skins micro circulation properties and helps to energise tired skin. At first use the metal applicator ball is cooling and soothing which makes application a breeze ! Though after 24 hours of applying it on i could alread see the difference in my eye bags the darkest spot which usually looks purplish has become lighter !! It also made my undereyes less puffy.. my under eyes have actually become flat !! this is sleep in a bottle !! i love it and will definitely buy it again !!
